Trained 211 Community Resource Specialists listen, identify problems and underlying root causes, and connect people to local supports to improve their lives. 211 Specialists make referrals to programs and services from locally-curated resource databases, regularly updated by professional 211 staff with close ties to local health and human services agencies and nonprofit organizations.
